Arreola vs. Stiverne rematch lands in Southern Cali!

On ESPN’s Friday Night Fights Chris Arreola (36-3, 31 KOs) confirmed that his May 10th rematch with Bermane Stiverne (23-2-2, 20 KOs)  will take place at the University of Southern California’s Galen Center in downtown Los Angeles.. The vacant WBC title formerly held by Vitali Klitschko will be up for grabs.

“It’s pride, It’s a very prideful thing to be the first of anything. I’m going to be in the history books” said Arreola, who could possibly be the first heavyweight world champion of Mexican-American decent should he be victorious on May 10th.  “That is my goal, to be in the history books and have people talk about me. I want to win this title, defend this title and eventually go after Wladamir (Klitschko) and get the rest of the titles”
