Diego De La Hoya Headlines The Next “LA Fight Club”

A great new way to kick off the weekend, fans will now be able to catch the hottest fights at LA FIGHT CLUB in downtown Los Angeles on a new night of the week. Beginning September 4, the popular series will take place the first Friday of every month with the next installment featuring rising star Diego De La Hoya (11-0, 7 KOs) of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico who will make his return to LA FIGHT CLUB. De La Hoya will fightin a 10-round featherweight bout against an opponent to be determined. Fans outside of the Los Angeles area can get in on all the action, as the popular series will now broadcast live nationally on Estrella TV at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT.

Also on the card, two-time Brazilian Olympian Everton Lopes (3-0, 1 KO) will make his second appearance in an exciting eight-round lightweight co-main event. Boasting an impressive local card hailing from Los Angeles, fan favorite Christian “Chimpa” Gonzalez (10-0, 9 KOs) will defend his undefeated record in a televised six-round super featherweight bout and Jesus Delgado (6-0-1, 2 KOs) and Rafael “El Alikin” Gramajo (4-1-1, 2 KOs) will be featured in separate six-round super featherweight and super bantamweight bouts, respectively. Opponents will be announced shortly.

The September 4 edition of LA FIGHT CLUB featuring Diego De La Hoya is a 10-round featherweight bout presented by Golden Boy Promotions. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the first bout begins at 5:30 p.m. The Estrella TV broadcast will air live on Friday, September 4 at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT.
