Erislandy Lara KOs Yuri Foreman in 4

WBA super welterweight champion Erislandy Lara (24-2-2, 14 KOs) scored fourth round KO over former world champion Yuri Foreman (34-3, 10 KOs) on Friday night at Hialeah Park Racing and Casino in Miami, FL. Lara cruised through the first three rounds and in the fourth landed a left uppercut that sent Foreman to the canvas. Yuri would make it to his feet by the count of nine but stumbled around in an attempt to find his balance. Referee Samuel Burgos chose to wave it off there at 1:47 of the fourth.

“I just want to fight the best in the world,” he said through the translation of his manager Luis DeCubas. “I’m tired of mentioning names, they know who they are: Andrade, Golovkin, Canelo the best. We want to fight the best.”
