Former WBO featherweight champion Mikey Garcia (32-0, 27 KOs) was all smiles as he made his way to the ring and was all business once he was inside.

Garcia scored a fourth round TKO over former title holder Juan Manuel “Juan Ma” Lopez (33-3, 30 KOs)and showed little to no signs of any dehydration.

Garcia got off to a slow calculated start as he peppered the Puerto Rican with jabs in the first round. A few unanswered jabs set up a big right hand that sent “JuanMa” crashing to the canvas in the second. Garcia stayed patient until the fourth when a right hand on the temple shook up Lopez and had him stumbling. A couple of missed shots kept Lopez out of position and off balance when a left hook stretched him out on the canvas. Referee Rafael Ramos would reach the count of six as Lopez made his way back to his feet. Ramos reached eight and asked Lopez to come forward. When Lopez could not take a step forward and instead stumbled back, Ramos waived it off. Official time of the stoppage was 1:35.
