Mayweather: I don’t duck or dodge nobody!

On Saturday afternoon in Las Vegas, Floyd Mayweather met with the media to speak on his May 3rd clash with Marcos Maidana. Here is what he had to say.

Once again for the record, Floyd Mayweather is not scared of no opponent. I don’t duck or dodge nobody. I earned my stripes So I can pick and choose. I fight who I want to fight. Nobody is forced to watch me.

The best move I ever made was leaving Top Rank. The best move in my whole career was leaving Top Rank. I was making 7 figures with them but once I left them I made 8 figures. The best move I ever made was becoming my own boss and be able to dictate and do what I want to do with my career.

People want to ask why I chose Maidana over Khan. Look at his last 4 victories. Look at his last 4 fights, then look at Khan’s last 4 fights. I had to go with the best choice. He made a big impact on the sport with his last fight.

Styles make fights and this style here is tailor made to be a war. Certain fighters cut the ring off and make me fight.  No different from the Cotto fight, I had to sit and fight and it was blood sweat and tears.

As far as my 3 next opponents. I really don’t know who my 3 next opponents will be. You know who I wanted on my undercard, if you want to fight me you have to earn it.
