Pacquiao asking for $20 Mil payday to face Crawford

According to reports, Manny Pacquiao is willing to take a fight with Terence Crawford but only if he’s guaranteed a $20 million payday.

Top Rank’s Bob Arum, promoter for both men told Ring TV that if both men were successful in their final bouts of 2016, a possible fight could be made for April 2017.

“If Manny wins the fight and funny enough with Crawford going again in December, it’s possible to do an April fight if Manny and Crawford are successful,” Arum said

Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38 KOs) defeated Jessie Vargas by unanimous decision in November and a month later, Terence Crawford (30-0, 21 KOs) stopped John Molina Jr. in 8 rounds.

“If it’s Crawford that Top Rank wants for Manny Pacquiao, then we’ll fight Crawford but we want a guarantee of $20-million,” said Pacquiao adviser Mike Koncz on Monday.
