Pacquiao chooses Jesse Vargas for November 15th clash

According to an LA Times report, Manny Pacquiao has chosen WBO welterweight title holder Jesse Vargas as his opponent for a November 15th clash in either Las Vegas or Dubai.

Vargas moved to the number 1 spot after Pacquiao decided that Terence Crawford, coming off an impressive win over Viktor Postol, was to big of a risk stylistically.  Pac’s first chose according to the report was Adrien Broner, who priced himself out early in negotiations.

Promoter Bob Arum is scheduled to meet with Pacquiao to discuss the logistics of the welterweight bout. Two locations mention were Las Vegas and Dubai.
