Ronny Rios defeats Andrew Cancio in a ten round battle!

Santa Ana’s own Ronny Rios (22-0, 10 KOs) remained undefeated on Monday by defeating a tough Andrew Cancio (15-3-2, 11 KOs) at the UIC Pavillion in Chicago IL. Cancio, of Blythe Ca. started strong, working the head and body in the opening rounds. The two went punch for punch through the middle rounds but as the fight went on, the 24 year old Rios seemed to pull away. Though Cancio stayed active it was Rios who was more accurate and seemed to have more on his punches down the stretch. After ten rounds of action, all three judges would see it for Rios with scores of 97-93 twice and a very close 96-94.
