Love him or hate him, at the young age of 23, Adrien “the problem” Broner has made himself a can’t miss attraction every time he steps into the ring.
“I feed off of it. I love the fans. You have some who dislike what I do because of how I carry myself but you have a lot who like me, so I love it. I dreamed of this. I was ready for this when I was born. I got the God given talent and as you can see, I put in the work.”
On November 17, 2012, Broner will make a run at a world title and challenge tough Mexican Antonio De Marco for his WBC lightweight title.
“It’s going to be fun. He is a world class fighter, he wouldn’t be champion if he wasn’t. It’s going to be an exciting fight. I know he’s going to come prepared but we’ll be ready.”
The Cincinnati Ohio fighter was visiting Southern California in support of long-time friend 2012 Olympian Rau’Shee Warren who made his pro-debut this weekend but “The Problem” has been training in Colorado.
“It’s fun, It’s like home. I call it Cinc’arado.”
Broner offered up no predictions for fight night but gave a warning to De Marco’s corner.
“He’s coming to fight and has the heart of a lion but heart can get you killed. If they don’t stop this fight, he could really get hurt.”
