Final Words: Broner vs. Garcia

Super lightweights Adrien “The Problem” Broner and Mikey Garcia faced off Thursday in advance of their 12 round championship fight this Saturday in Brooklyn and televised live on Showtime.

Adrien Broner:

“I know he’s ready. Robert Garcia, you know, he feels confident after being victorious with (Marcos) Maidana. I know that’s a little confidence builder but (Mikey Garcia) ain’t no Maidana and they know that. He’s no where near Maidana.”

Mikey Garcia:

“We’re definitely not the same fighter. I don’t measure myself up to Marcos Maidana. He has a set of skills and was successful in his fight with Adrien Broner but I have a lot more skills than you see from outside the ring. When he steps inside that ring with me on Saturday night, he’s going to find out.
