Fresh off his fourth round KO victory over Rahman Yusubov in June, Hugo “The Boss” Centeno returns to action this Saturday to take on Ayi Bruce of Ghana.
The undefeated Centeno will look to add his fifteenth straight victory to his record when he enters the ring at the HP Pavillion in San Jose. Bruce, With more than twice the experience has seen tough opposition in Ishe Smith, Vitaliy Demyanenko and Gabriel Rosado. The tough Ghanaian is a solid step up for the young Oxnard prospect and a great gauge to see where he stands amongst the current jr. middleweight division.
Centeno vs. Bruce comes on the undercard of this Saturday’s welterweight showdown between Robert Guererro and Selcuk Aydin and will be televised on Showtime Extreme beginning at 5 P.M. (check you local listings for West Coast delay)
