Khan vs. Molina officially announced in L.A!

The holiday season begins early this year as Golden Boy Promotions is excited to present a Super Saturday for fight fans on Saturday, December 15 at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena with the return of former Unified Super Lightweight World Champion Amir “King” Khan against undefeated Carlos Molina on SHOWTIME

 Today both fighters met and sized each other up at the historic arena in Los Angeles Ca.

“Come December 15th, I’m getting ready for an all out war” said Molina “I want to thank Amir for choosing me as an opponent but he made a big mistake. This is my coming out party and come December 15th I don’t see any other outcome other than me remaining undefeated”

 

“You know it’s a comeback fight for me and the comeback fights are always tough. People want to see what you got left and see if you’re the same fighter you were before you got beat” said Khan “I made a mistake in my last fight and I know the mistakes I made. That’s the reason why I changed trainers, I made a lot of changes in my training camp.  At times in fights I used my heart too much and I got involved in fights where I didn’t need to get involved. That’s the mistake I’ve been making. With (new trainer) Virgil Hunter, he’s telling me to think about things more, so that’s what we have been working on. I need to win this fight to be back where I want to be”
