Guillen of Phoenix AZ. looked to have one game plan in mind, come out, swing for the fences, cross your fingers and hope to land something big. Unfortunately for him, Martin would be the one to land the game ending shot. A thunderous left hook sent Guillen crashing to the canvas and nearly out of the ring. Guillen’s failed attempts to make it to his feet had referee Raul Caiz Sr. waiving it off at 1:27 of the second round.

In the co-featured bout of the night, Colton Ca.’s Artemio Reyes (18-2, 13 KOs) cut down a tough Gerardo Cuevas Jr. (15-8, 13 KOs) to score a second round KO at the 1:51 mark. Referee Zachary Young would reach the count of eight before deciding that Cuevas was unfit to continue.
