Matthysse vs. Peterson highlights!

On Saturday Argentinian slugger Lucas Matthysse crushed Lamont Peterson inside 3 rounds to earn the KO victory in Atlantic City. Matthysse sent Lamont to the canvas 3 times before referee Steve Smoger stepped in and waived it off. Much was made of Lucas’ right hand power leading up to the Jr. welterweight class but Matthysse proved he has equally devastating power  in his left. The two traded left hooks in the third but it was Peterson’s legs that would give out as both landed. A follow up flurry blasted Peterson against the ropes before he could fully recover. Smoger had no choice but to call for the end.
