Ponce De Leon to return in November at 130 lbs!

In an interview with BBoxingNews.com, manager Frank Espinoza Sr. said former featherweight champion Daniel Ponce De Leon will make his return to the ring some time in November and it will likely be at 130 pounds.

“Ponce will start venturing into the 130 pound weight limit “Espinoza said “we expect to see him back in November. We are going to start looking [for an opponent] at 130. I think he feels more comfortable there”

Ponce De Leon will be looking to bounce back from a TKO loss to stablemate Abner Mares in May. De Leon was down twice in that fight and it was his first title defense since claiming the title last year in a technical decision victory over Jhonny Gonzalez.
