Pro Boxing back in Pomona!
Boxing is back in Pomona California! After staging several successful and thrilling shows at the same venue, the people wanted it, so ShowDown Promotions along with UBM-Union Boxing Management is pleased to announce the return of boxing on Saturday March 31st at the FINISH LINE Sports Grill Events Center ( located adjacent to the Pomona Fairplex.)
The action-packed card will feature Super Welterweight, Armenian born-Russia based, Armen Ovsepyan 12-2 (10KOs) facing Escondido, California’s Dashon Johnson 13-5-3 (4KOs) with the California State title on the line.
Super Welterweight Andrey Klimov 12-0 (7KOs) hailing from Granada Hills, Ca via Russia will seek to keep his undefeated record and defend his WBC United States belt against Greeley, Colorado’s Robert Rodriguez 6-0 (2KOs) in a scheduled eight round battle.
L.A’s Southpaw Ricky Duenas 9-1 (6KOs) will have his hands full as he faces the very tough, non-sense Rufino Flores 2-3 in a six round welter weight bout. Flores handed Alexander Pedrozev his only loss at the same venue a year ago.
Santa Ana’s popular Lightweight Jesse Roman 9-0 (6KOs) will look to add another KO to his ledger, following a stoppage over rugged Martin Armenta (KO in 3) earlier on this month. Roman’s opponent will be the rugged Ramon Flores 3-14-2 (3KOs) in a Lightweight bout pacted for four.
Montebello, California’s Xavier Montelongo 1-0, who debuted last October is eager to get back in the ring and score his second pro-win as he faces Acencion Arias in a four round Super Featherweight bout.
Super Featherweight Vage Suruhan, Ovsepyan’s team-mate is coming off a four round thriller win against Juan Reyes back in December, Suhuran is scheduled to fight a four round Super Featherweight bout against Ronald Rodriguez 1-2 (1KO)
Palmdale, California’s Jesse Villanueva 2-0 (2KOs) is scheduled for four rounds against Emmanuel Machorro 0-5-1 in a Bantamweight bout.
Lightweight Carlos Gonzalez makes his pro-debut against Jesus Partida 0-0-1 in a scheduled four rounder.
Rounding out the fight card Russia’s Super Lightweight Alexander Pedrozev 3-1, is scheduled to face an opponent TBA in a four round Super Lightweight fight.
