Marquez and Alvarado make weight and expect a war!

Today at the “Fabulous Forum” in Los Angeles, Juan Manuel Marquez and “Mile High” Mike Alvarado stepped on the scale and made the 143 pound catch-weight, making tomorrow night’s “Jr. welterweight eliminator” official.

“The people will see a war” said Marquez who came in at 141.6 “this fight will be a war because Mike alvarado is a strong fighter and I feel like (it’ll be) a great fight”

 

“I know its going to be a great fight” Said Alvarado who tipped the scale at aready 143.2 lbs. “I’m ready for a war”

In the co-feature, undefeated Viktor Postol weighed in at 139.6 lbs. for his bout with Selcuk Aydin who came in at 139.2 lbs. The lightwelterweight clash is scheduled for 12 rounds.
