Hot! Marquez, Fedchenko make weight | Rios 2 lbs over!

The weights are in for tomorrow nights dual site pay-per-view card presented by Top Rank and Broadcast by HBO.

From Mexico City, Mexico, Juan Manuel Marquez stepped on the scale at a ready 140 lbs. His opponent Serhiy Fedchenko also came in at 140.

After months of talking about how he was dropping weight the “right way” and that losing his belt on the scale in New York was a “fluke”, Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios once again stepped on the scale over the 135 lb. weight limit. The Oxnard fighter tipped the scale in Las Vegas at 137 lbs. after watching his opponent Richard Abril hit the mark at 135. ** Rios failed his second attempt an hour later. His official weight is 137 and cannot claim the lightweight title should he beat Abril on Saturday night.

On the undercard, Mauricio Herrera (140) and Mike Alvarado (140) both made weight along with Mercito Gesta (137) and Oscar Cuero (138) who open up the HBO telecast.
