On Tuesday Timothy Bradley appeared on his local newspaper’s Livestream channel and answered questions about his upcoming mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao on June 19th.

On Pacquiao’s power:

“Am I going to be able to handle Manny’s Power? I don’t know yet. I really don’t know until I get in there. After the first round, I’ll know if it’s going to be a tough fight or If i’m going to win the fight.

Will He try and counter or get off first:

“One thing I do very well is make adjustments in the ring. Sometime’s I’ll counter punch and sometimes i’ll go forward, depending on what Manny’s doing”

Fighting on a bigger stage in Vegas:

“I was there for the semi-main event, there was 16,000 there in the arena and it didn’t spook me at all. I felt very comfortable. I’ve been trying to get to Vegas my whole career.

“There are some nerves there, I am the main event. I do have to perform. people are paying to see this fight and I want to put on a great show for the fans. There is some added pressure but i live for this moment. I’m going to give it everything I got.”

Why Fight Pacquiao now:

“Pacquiao, right now is the perfect time to fight Pac. Looking at his last couple fights, he hasn’t knocked anybody out. He hasn’t looked spectacular, like he normally does. Against Mosley he didn’t look spectacular and his last fight is questionable, whether he won or not”

“He hasn’t looked impressive. Maybe he’s declining, maybe that’s why Floyd Mayweather wants to fight him as well.”

On being the underdog:

“I’ve been the underdog my whole life. People said I was too short. People said I was going to go to England and get knocked out… I came back with the title.”

“People don’t know my background. They don’t know where I come from and they don’t know where I’ve been. They don’t know how hard i’ve worked to get to this position. They think this was given to me. It wasn’t, it was earned.”

On whether or not the fight goes the distance:

” I think it goes the distance. I always say it goes the distance”
