Mikkel Kessler (45-2, 34 KOs) scored a fourth round KO over Allan Green (31-4, 21 KOs) on Saturday night at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark. Green floored Kessler in round one but Kessler rallied back and rocked Green in the closing seconds of the round. In the fourth, after just missing with the left hook in the previous rounds, Kessler landed a hook right on the mark, sending Green crashing to the canvas and unable to continue.  Kessler claimed the vacant WBC Silver light heavyweight title with the win.
